Joshua 16
Open in the reader1The allotment for the descendants of May-He-Add extended from the Descender at Moon to the waters of Moon on the east, through the wilderness that goes up from Moon into the hill country of House-of-God.
It went on from House-of-God (that is, Almond) and proceeded to the border of the Archites in Crowns.
Then it descended westward to the border of the Japhletites as far as the border House-of-Hollow Lower House-of-Hollow and on to Portion, and it ended at the Sea.
So Double-Fruit and Causing-to-Forget, the sons of May-He-Add, received their inheritance.
This was the territory of the descendants of Double-Fruit by their clans: The border of their inheritance went from Crowns-of-Glory in the east to Upper House-of-Hollow
and out toward the Sea. From Michmethath on the north it turned eastward toward Approach-to-Shiloh and passed by it to Resting-Place on the east.
From Resting-Place it went down to Crowns and Young-Girl, and then reached Moon and came out at the Descender.
From Apple the border went westward to the Brook of Reed and ended at the Sea. This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Double-Fruit,
along with all the cities and villages set apart for the descendants of Double-Fruit within the inheritance of Causing-to-Forget.
But they did not drive out the Humbled-Ones who lived in Portion. So the Humbled-Ones dwell among the children of Double-Fruit to this day, but they are forced laborers.
