2Nohah the fourth, and Giant the fifth.
3The sons of Swallowed: Noble, Grain, My-Father-Is-Majesty,
4My-Father-Is-Salvation, Pleasantness, Brotherly,
5Grain, Shephuphan, and My-Brother-Is-Exalted.
6These were the descendants of United who were the heads of the families living in Hillock and were exiled to Resting-Place:
7Pleasantness, My-Brother-Is-He-Who-Is, and Grain, who carried them into exile and who was the father of Strength and My-Brother-Is-a-Riddle.
8Shaharaim had sons in the country of From-the-Father after he had divorced his wives Hasters and Brutish.
9His sons by his wife Hodesh: Howler, Zibia, Mesha, Their-King,
10Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families.
11He also had sons by Hasters: My-Father-Is-Good and God-Has-Acted.
12The sons of God-Has-Acted: Crosser, Misham, Keeper (who built Strong and Lod with its villages),
13and In-Misfortune and Hearing (who were the heads of families living in Place-of-Deer and who drove out the inhabitants of Wine-Press).
14His-Brother, Pedestrian, Heights,
15He-Who-Is-Has-Endowed, Fugitive, Eder,
16Who-Is-Like-God, Ishpah, and Joha were the sons of In-Misfortune.
17He-Who-Is-Has-Endowed, Allied, Hizki, Company,
18Ishmerai, Izliah, and Howler were the sons of God-Has-Acted.
19He-Raises, My-Remembrance, My-Endowment,
20My-God-Is-My-Eyes, My-Shadow, My-God-Is-God,
21He-Who-Is-Has-Adorned, He-Who-Is-Has-Created, and Shimrath were the sons of My-Hearing.
22Ishpan, Crosser, My-God-Is-God,
23Servile, My-Remembrance, Gracious,
24He-Who-Is-Gracious, Elam, Anthothijah,
25He-Who-Is-Redeems, and Face-of-God were the sons of Pedestrian.
26Shamsherai, He-Who-Is-Has-Sought, He-Who-Is-Has-Constrained,
27Jaareshiah, My-God-Is-He-Who-Is, and My-Remembrance were the sons of May-He-Be-Shown-Compassion.
28All these were heads of families, the chiefs according to their genealogies, and they lived in Foundation-of-Peace.
29God-Sweeps-Away the father of Hill-Town lived in Hill-Town. His wife’s name was Pressed-Down,
30and Servile was his firstborn son, then Rock, Bow, Baal, Generous,
31Walled-Place, His-Brother, Memorial,
32and Staves, who was the father of Shimeah. They too lived alongside their relatives in Foundation-of-Peace.
33Lamp was the father of Bow, Bow was the father of Asked-For, and Asked-For was the father of He-Who-Is-Has-Given, My-King-Is-Salvation, My-Father-Is-Generous, and Man-of-Baal.
34The son of He-Who-Is-Has-Given: Contender-of-the-Lord, and Contender-of-the-Lord was the father of Who-Is-Like-He-Who-Is.
35The sons of Who-Is-Like-He-Who-Is: Expansive, King, Tarea, and He-Has-Grasped.
36He-Has-Grasped was the father of He-Who-Is-Has-Adorned, He-Who-Is-Has-Adorned was the father of Concealment, Death-Is-Strong, and My-Song, and My-Song was the father of Going-Forth.
37Going-Forth was the father of Binea. Giant was his son, God-Has-Made his son, and Set-Apart his son.
38Set-Apart had six sons, and these were their names: My-Help-Has-Risen, First-Born, God-Hears, He-Who-Is-Has-Esteemed, Servant-of-He-Who-Is, and Gracious. All these were the sons of Set-Apart.
39The sons of his brother Eshek: Forecourt was his firstborn, He-Hastens-to-Help second, and My-God-Is-Deliverance third.
40The sons of Forecourt were mighty men of valor, archers, and they had many sons and grandsons—150 in all. All these were the descendants of Son-of-the-Right-Hand.
