2Judge, May-He-Add, Son-of-the-Right-Hand, My-Wrestling, Fortune, and Happy.
3The sons of Praised: Watchful, Vigorous, and Asked-For. These three were born to him by Bath-Wealth the Humbled-One. Watchful, Praised’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of He-Who-Is. So He-Who-Is put him to death.
4Palm-Tree, Praised’s daughter-in-law, bore to him Breach and Dawning. Praised had five sons in all.
5The sons of Breach: Courtyard and Spared.
6The sons of Dawning: My-Song, Enduring, Faithful, Sustainer, and Pearl-of-Knowledge —five in all.
7The son of My-Vineyard: Troubler, who brought trouble upon Strives-with-God by violating the ban on devoted things.
8The son of Enduring: He-Who-Is-Helps.
9The sons who were born to Courtyard: God-Will-Have-Compassion, Exalted, and Dog.
10Exalted was the father of My-Kinsman-Is-Generous, and My-Kinsman-Is-Generous was the father of Enchanter, a leader of the descendants of Praised.
11Enchanter was the father of Garment, and Garment was the father of In-Strength.
12In-Strength was the father of Serving, and Serving was the father of Man-of-He-Who-Is.
13Man-of-He-Who-Is was the father of My-God-Is-Father his firstborn; My-Father-Is-Generous was born second, Heard third,
14God-Has-Given fourth, Raddai fifth,
15Strength sixth, and Beloved seventh.
16Their sisters were Balm and My-Father-Is-Joy. And the three sons of Balm were My-Father-Is-a-Gift, He-Who-Is-Father, and God-Has-Made.
17My-Father-Is-Joy was the mother of Burden, whose father was Abundance the God-Hears-Folk.
18Dog son of Courtyard had children by his wife Forsaken and by Jerioth. These were the sons of Forsaken: Jesher, Rebellious, and Roaming.
19When Forsaken died, Dog married Fruitful, who bore to him White.
20White was the father of My-Light, and My-Light was the father of In-the-Shadow-of-God.
21Later, Courtyard slept with the daughter of Salesman the father of Heap-of-Witness. He had married her when he was sixty years old, and she bore to him Lifted-High.
22Lifted-High was the father of He-Enlightens, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Heap-of-Witness.
23But Bridge and Highland captured Havvoth-He-Enlightens, along with Possession and its sixty surrounding villages. All these were descendants of Salesman the father of Heap-of-Witness.
24After Courtyard died in Dog-ephrathah, his wife My-Father-Is-He-Who-Is bore to him Black the father of Trumpet-Blast.
25The sons of God-Will-Have-Compassion the firstborn of Courtyard: Exalted his firstborn, Discernment, Fir-Tree, Strength, and My-Brother-Is-He-Who-Is.
26God-Will-Have-Compassion had another wife named Atarah, who was the mother of Vigorous.
27The sons of Exalted the firstborn of God-Will-Have-Compassion: Maaz, Right-Hand, and Eker.
28The sons of Vigorous: Destructive and He-Knows. The sons of Destructive: Generous and My-Father-Is-Wall.
29My-Father-Is-Wall’s wife was named My-Father-Is-Might, and she bore to him Brother-of-Understanding and Molid.
30The sons of Generous: Seled and Two-Nostrils. Seled died without children.
31The son of Two-Nostrils: My-Salvation. The son of My-Salvation: Lily. The son of Lily: O-Would-That.
32The sons of He-Knows the brother of Destructive: Abundance and He-Who-Is-Has-Given. Abundance died without children.
33The sons of He-Who-Is-Has-Given: Swift and Prominent. These were the descendants of God-Will-Have-Compassion.
34Lily had no sons, but only daughters. He also had an Two-Straits-One servant named Jarha.
35Lily gave his daughter in marriage to his servant Jarha, and she bore to him Timely.
36Timely was the father of He-Has-Given, He-Has-Given was the father of Gift,
37Gift was the father of Judgment, Judgment was the father of Serving,
38Serving was the father of He-Who-Is-He, He-Who-Is-He was the father of He-Who-Is-Helps,
39He-Who-Is-Helps was the father of Rescued, Rescued was the father of God-Has-Made,
40God-Has-Made was the father of Sismai, Sismai was the father of Requital,
41Requital was the father of He-Who-Is-Will-Establish, and He-Who-Is-Will-Establish was the father of My-God-Has-Heard.
42The sons of Dog the brother of God-Will-Have-Compassion: Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Pitch, and Summit his second son, who was the father of Association.
43The sons of Association: Shaven, Apple, Many-Colored, and Hearing.
44Hearing was the father of Raham the father of Jorkeam, and Many-Colored was the father of Destructive.
45The son of Destructive was Dwelling, and Dwelling was the father of House-of-the-Rock.
46Dog’s concubine Darkness was the mother of Parched, Going-Forth, and Shearer. Parched was the father of Shearer.
47The sons of Jahdai: Regem, He-Who-Is-Perfect, Clod, Deliverance, Darkness, and Division.
48Dog’s concubine Pressed-Down was the mother of Sheber and Tirhanah.
49She was also the mother of Division father of Dunghill, and of Vanity father of Machbenah and Hill. Dog’s daughter was Anklet.
50These were the descendants of Dog. The sons of White the firstborn of Fruitful: Flowing the father of City-of-Forests,
51Garment the father of House-of-Bread, and Hareph the father of House-of-the-Wall.
52These were the descendants of Flowing the father of City-of-Forests: The-Seer, half the Resting-Place-Folks,
53and the clans of City-of-Forests—the Abundance-Clans, Puthites, Shumathites, and Mishraites. From these descended the Hornet-Town-Ones and Eshtaolites.
54The descendants of Garment: House-of-Bread, the Of-Dropping-Places, Crowns-of-the-House-of-He-Who-Is-Father, half the Resting-Place-Ones, the Zorites,
55and the clans of the scribes who lived at He-Causes-Pain—the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Smith-Ones who came from Hot-Spring, the father of the house of Rider.
