4The sons of Rest: Name, Hot, and He-Enlarges.
5The sons of He-Enlarges: Completion, Magog, Media, Greece, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
6The sons of Completion: Ashkenaz, Diphath, and Togarmah.
7And the sons of Greece: Elishah, Far-Shore, Kittim, Dodanim.
8The sons of Hot: Cush, Two-Straits, Put, and Humbled.
9The sons of Cush: Seba, Circular, Sabta, Thunder, and Sabteca. The sons of Thunder: Sheba and Dedan.
10Cush was the father of We-Shall-Rebel, who began to be a mighty one on the earth.
11Two-Straits was the father of Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim,
12Pathrusim, Casluhim (from whom the Philistines came), Caphtorim.
13And Humbled was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,
14the Trodden-Ones, the Mountaineers, the Girgashites,
15the Tent-Villagers, the Arkites, the Sinites,
16the Wanderings, the Zemarites, and the Fortress-Folks.
17The sons of Name: Elam, Successful, Arpachshad, Lud, and Highland . The sons of Highland: Consultation, Dance, Gether, and Meshech.
18Arpachshad was the father of Sprout, and Sprout was the father of Crosser.
19Two sons were born to Crosser: One was named Division, because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother was named He-Will-Be-Made-Small.
20And He-Will-Be-Made-Small was the father of Almodad, Drawn-Out, Settlement-of-Death, Moon,
21Hadad-Is-Exalted, Uzal, Diklah,
22Bare, My-Father-Is-God, Sheba,
23Ophir, Circular, and Howler. All these were sons of He-Will-Be-Made-Small.
24So from Name came Arpachshad, Sprout,
25Crosser, Division, Friend,
26Branch, Snorter, Terah,
27and Exalted-Father (that is, Father-of-a-Multitude).
28The sons of Father-of-a-Multitude were He-Laughs and God-Hears.
29These are their genealogies: Fruitfulnesses the firstborn of God-Hears, then Dark, Disciplined-of-God, Sweet-Spice ,
30Hearing, Silence, Burden, Hadad, Tema,
31Jetur, Refreshment, and Eastward. These were the sons of God-Hears.
32The sons born to Incense, Father-of-a-Multitude’s concubine: Musical, Fowler, Strife, Strife, He-Will-Leave, and Pit. The sons of Fowler: Sheba and Dedan.
33The sons of Strife: Darkness, Fawn, Dedicated, My-Father-Knows, and God-Has-Known. All of these were Incense’s sons.
34Father-of-a-Multitude was the father of He-Laughs. The sons of He-Laughs: Hairy and Strives-with-God.
35The sons of Hairy: My-God-Is-Fine-Gold, Friend-of-God, He-Hastens-to-Help, He-Hides, and Shaven.
36The sons of My-God-Is-Fine-Gold: South, Speaker, Watchman, Gatam, and Hunter; and by Restraint, Amalek.
37The sons of Friend-of-God: Rest, Dawning, Desolation, and Mizzah.
38The sons of Hairy: Covering, Flowing, Dye, Answer, Antelope, Treasure, and Antelope.
39The sons of Covering: Cave-Dweller and Raging. Restraint was Covering’s sister.
40The sons of Flowing: Lofty, Resting-Place, Bare, Shepho, and Vigorous. The sons of Dye: Hawk and Answer.
41The son of Answer: Antelope. The sons of Antelope: Hemdan, Vigorous, Abundance, and Cheran.
42The sons of Treasure: Their-Decay, Trembling, and Akan. The sons of Antelope: Consultation and Ringing-Cry.
43These are the kings who reigned in the land of Red before any king reigned over the children of Strives-with-God: Swallowed son of Burning. His city was named Dinhabah.
44When Swallowed died, Howler son of Dawning from Fortress reigned in his place.
45When Howler died, Hasty from the land of the Southerners reigned in his place.
46When Hasty died, Hadad son of Solitary, who defeated Strife in the country of From-the-Father, reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Ruin.
47When Hadad died, Garment from Vineyard reigned in his place.
48When Garment died, Asked-For from Broad-Places on the Rushing reigned in his place.
49When Asked-For died, Baal-Is-Gracious son of Mouse reigned in his place.
50When Baal-Is-Gracious died, Hadad reigned in his place. His city was named Pau, and his wife’s name was God-Bestows-Good daughter of Driving-Forward, the daughter of Waters-of-Gold.
51Then Hadad died. Now the chiefs of Red were Restraint, Lofty, Jetheth,
52Tent-of-the-High-Place, Terebinth, Darkness,
53Hunter, South, Fortress,
54Preciousness-of-God, and City-Dweller. These were the chiefs of Red.
