2These are the names of the sons of Sojourner-There: White and My-Hearing.
3The sons of Assembly: Kindred-Is-Exalted, Shining-Oil, Association, and My-Strength-Is-God.
4The sons of Bitter: Sickly and Sensitive. These are the clans of the Joined-Ones listed according to their fathers:
5Of Sojourner-There: White his son, Unity his son, Zimmah his son,
6He-Who-Is-Brother his son, Timely his son, Dawning his son, and Jeatherai his son.
7The descendants of Assembly: My-Kinsman-Is-Generous his son, Shaven his son, Prisoner his son,
8God-Has-Acquired his son, My-Father-Has-Gathered his son, Prisoner his son,
9Beneath his son, My-Light-Is-God his son, Strength-of-He-Who-Is his son, and Asked-For his son.
10The descendants of God-Has-Acquired: Burden-Bearer, My-Brother-Is-Death,
11God-Has-Acquired his son, Honeycomb his son, Rest his son,
12My-God-Is-Father his son, May-He-Be-Shown-Compassion his son, and God-Has-Acquired his son.
13The sons of Heard-of-God: He-Who-Is-God his firstborn and My-Father-Is-He-Who-Is his second son.
14The descendants of Bitter: Sickly, White his son, My-Hearing his son, Strength his son,
15Heard his son, Feast-of-He-Who-Is his son, and He-Who-Is-Has-Made his son.
16These are the men Beloved put in charge of the music in the house of He-Who-Is after the Chest rested there.
17They ministered with song before the Dwelling, the Tent of Meeting, until Peace built the house of He-Who-Is in Foundation-of-Peace. And they performed their duties according to the regulations given them.
18These are the men who served, together with their sons. From the Allied-Ones: Faithful the singer, the son of He-Who-Is-God, the son of Heard-of-God,
19the son of God-Has-Acquired, the son of May-He-Be-Shown-Compassion, the son of My-God-Is-God, the son of Humble,
20the son of Honeycomb, the son of God-Has-Acquired, the son of Grasping, the son of Burden-Bearer,
21the son of God-Has-Acquired, the son of He-Who-Is-God, the son of He-Who-Is-Helps, the son of He-Who-Is-Has-Hidden,
22the son of Beneath, the son of Prisoner, the son of My-Father-Has-Gathered, the son of Shaven,
23the son of Shining-Oil, the son of Assembly, the son of Joined, the son of Strives-with-God.
24Faithful’s kinsman was Gatherer, who served at his right hand: Gatherer the son of He-Who-Is-Has-Blessed, the son of Heard,
25the son of Who-Is-Like-God, the son of Work-of-He-Who-Is, the son of My-King-Is-He-Who-Is,
26the son of Gift, the son of Dawning, the son of He-Who-Is-Has-Adorned,
27the son of Enduring, the son of Zimmah, the son of My-Hearing,
28the son of Unity, the son of Sojourner-There, the son of Joined.
29On the left were their kinsmen, the sons of Bitter: Enduring the son of Kishi, the son of My-Servant, the son of Reigning-One,
30the son of He-Who-Is-Has-Considered, the son of He-Who-Is-Strong, the son of My-Portion-Is-He-Who-Is,
31the son of My-Strength, the son of Built, the son of Keeper,
32the son of Sickly, the son of Sensitive, the son of Bitter, the son of Joined.
33Their fellow Joined-Ones were assigned to every kind of service of the Dwelling, the house of God.
34But Aaron and his sons did all the work of the Most Devoted Place. They presented the offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense to make atonement for Strives-with-God, according to all that Drawn-Out the servant of God had commanded.
35These were the descendants of Aaron: My-God-Is-Help his son, Phinehas his son, My-Father-Is-Salvation his son,
36Proved-of-He-Who-Is his son, My-Strength his son, He-Who-Is-Shines his son,
37Rebellions his son, He-Who-Is-Has-Said his son, My-Brother-Is-Goodness his son,
38Righteous his son, and My-Brother-Is-Wrath his son.
39Now these were the territories assigned to the descendants of Aaron from the Allied-One clan for their settlements, because the first lot fell to them:
40They were given Association in the land of Praised and its surrounding pasturelands.
41But the fields and villages around the city were given to Dog son of He-Will-Be-Prepared.
42So the descendants of Aaron were given Association (a city of refuge), Whiteness, Abundant, Place-of-Hearing,
43Hilen, Oracle-Place,
44Smoke, Inclined, and House-of-Sun, together with their pasturelands.
45And from the tribe of Son-of-the-Right-Hand they were given Hill-Town, Hillock, Concealment, and Answers, together with their pasturelands. So they had thirteen cities in all among their families.
46To the rest of the children of Assembly, ten cities were allotted from the half-tribe of Causing-to-Forget.
47The Gershomites, according to their clans, were allotted thirteen cities from the tribes of There-Is-Reward, Happy, My-Wrestling, and Causing-to-Forget in Fertile-Plain.
48The children of Bitter, according to their clans, were allotted twelve cities from the tribes of See-a-Son, Fortune, and Dwelling.
49So the children of Strives-with-God gave to the Joined-Ones these cities and their pasturelands.
50They assigned by lot the cities named above from the tribes of Praised, Heard, and Son-of-the-Right-Hand.
51And some of the clans of the children of Assembly were given cities from the tribe of Double-Fruit for their territory:
52They were given Shoulder (a city of refuge) with its pasturelands in the hill country of Double-Fruit, and Portion,
53He-Raises-the-People, House-of-Hollow,
54Place-of-Deer, and Wine-Press-of-the-Pomegranate, together with their pasturelands.
55And from the half-tribe of Causing-to-Forget the rest of the clans of the children of Assembly were given Youth and Not-of-the-People, together with their pasturelands.
56The Sojourner-Thereites received the following: From the clan of the half-tribe of Causing-to-Forget they were given Exile in Fertile-Plain and also Ashtaroth, together with their pasturelands.
57From the tribe of There-Is-Reward they were given Devoted-Place, Pasture,
58Heights, and Anem, together with their pasturelands.
59From the tribe of Happy they were given Mashal, Servile,
60Hukok, and Broad-Place, together with their pasturelands.
61And from the tribe of My-Wrestling they were given Devoted-Place in The-Circuit, Hot-Place, and Two-Cities, together with their pasturelands.
62The children of Bitter (the rest of the Levites) received the following: From the tribe of Dwelling they were given Rimmono and Mound, together with their pasturelands.
63From the tribe of See-a-Son east of the Descender opposite Moon they were given Stronghold in the wilderness, Trodden-Place,
64Eastern-Places, and Splendor, together with their pasturelands.
65And from the tribe of Fortune they were given Heights in Heap-of-Witness, Two-Camps,
66Reckoning, and He-Helps, together with their pasturelands.
