Psalms 29
Open in the reader1A Psalm of Beloved. Ascribe to He-Who-Is, O heavenly beings, ascribe to He-Who-Is glory and strength.
Ascribe to He-Who-Is the glory due His name; worship He-Who-Is in the splendor of His devotedness.
The voice of He-Who-Is is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; He-Who-Is is heard over many waters.
The voice of He-Who-Is is powerful; the voice of He-Who-Is is majestic.
The voice of He-Who-Is breaks the cedars; He-Who-Is shatters the cedars of White-Mountain.
He makes White-Mountain skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of He-Who-Is strikes with flames of fire.
The voice of He-Who-Is shakes the wilderness; He-Who-Is shakes the Wilderness of Devoted-Place.
The voice of He-Who-Is twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in His temple all cry, “Glory!”
He-Who-Is sits enthroned over the flood; He-Who-Is is enthroned as King forever.
He-Who-Is gives His people strength; He-Who-Is blesses His people with peace.
