2“Command the children of Strives-with-God and say to them: When you enter the land of Humbled, it will be allotted to you as an inheritance with these boundaries:
3Your southern border will extend from the Wilderness of Crag along the border of Red. On the east, your southern border will run from the end of the Salt Sea,
4cross south of the Ascent of Ascent-of-Scorpions, continue to Crag, and go south of Devoted-Place-of-Wandering. Then it will go on to Settlement-of-Addar and proceed to Stronghold,
5where it will turn from Stronghold, join the Brook of Two-Straits, and end at the Sea.
6Your western border will be the coastline of the Great Sea; this will be your boundary on the west.
7Your northern border will run from the Great Sea directly to Mount Mountain,
8and from Mount Mountain to Entrance-of-hamath, then extend to Side-Point,
9continue to Ziphron, and end at Settlement-of-Springs. This will be your boundary on the north.
10And your eastern border will run straight from Settlement-of-Springs to Bare-Place,
11then go down from Bare-Place to Fertile-Place on the east side of Spring and continue along the slopes east of the Sea of Harp.
12Then the border will go down along the Descender and end at the Salt Sea. This will be your land, defined by its borders on all sides.”
13So Drawn-Out commanded the children of Strives-with-God, “Apportion this land by lot as an inheritance. He-Who-Is has commanded that it be given to the nine and a half tribes.
14For the tribes of the See-a-Son-Ones and Gadites, along with the half-tribe of Causing-to-Forget, have already received their inheritance.
15These two and a half tribes have received their inheritance across the Descender from Moon, toward the sunrise.”
16Then He-Who-Is said to Drawn-Out,
17“These are the names of the men who are to assign the land as an inheritance for you: My-God-Is-Help the priest and He-Who-Is-Saves son of Nun.
18Appoint one leader from each tribe to distribute the land.
19These are their names: Dog son of He-Will-Be-Prepared from the tribe of Praised;
20Heard-of-God son of My-Kinsman-Is-Splendor from the tribe of Heard;
21My-God-Is-Beloved son of Chislon from the tribe of Son-of-the-Right-Hand;
22Proved-of-He-Who-Is son of Jogli, a leader from the tribe of Judge;
23My-God-Is-Gracious son of Ephod, a leader from the tribe of Causing-to-Forget son of May-He-Add;
24Risen-of-God son of Shiphtan, a leader from the tribe of Double-Fruit;
25My-God-Has-Treasured son of Parnach, a leader from the tribe of Dwelling;
26My-God-Is-Deliverance son of Azzan, a leader from the tribe of There-Is-Reward;
27My-Brother-Is-Majesty son of Shelomi, a leader from the tribe of Happy;
28and God-Has-Redeemed son of My-Kinsman-Is-Splendor, a leader from the tribe of My-Wrestling.”
29These are the ones whom He-Who-Is commanded to apportion the inheritance to the children of Strives-with-God in the land of Humbled.
