Healer’s son He-Who-Is-Has-Judged reigned in his place, and he strengthened himself against Strives-with-God.

He stationed troops in every fortified city of Praised and put garrisons in the land of Praised and in the cities of Double-Fruit that his father Healer had captured.

Now He-Who-Is was with He-Who-Is-Has-Judged because he walked in the earlier ways of his father Beloved. He did not seek The-Ruler,

but he sought the God of his father and walked by His commandments rather than the practices of Strives-with-God.

So He-Who-Is established the kingdom in his hand, and all Praised brought him tribute, so that he had an abundance of riches and honor.

And his heart took delight in the ways of He-Who-Is; furthermore, he removed the high places and Asherah poles from Praised.

In the third year of his reign, He-Who-Is-Has-Judged sent his officials Son-of-Valor, Servant-of-He-Who-Is, He-Who-Is-Remembers, God-Has-Given, and Who-Is-Like-He-Who-Is to teach in the cities of Praised,

accompanied by certain Levites—He-Who-Is-Has-Heard, He-Who-Is-Gives, He-Who-Is-Has-Heard, He-Who-Is-Gives, He-Who-Is-Has-Endowed, God-Has-Made, My-Lord-Is-He-Who-Is, He-Who-Is-Has-Given, and Good-of-He-Who-Is—along with the priests My-God-Has-Heard and He-Who-Is-Exalted.

They taught throughout Praised, taking with them the Book of the Teaching of He-Who-Is. They went throughout the towns of Praised and taught the people.

And the dread of He-Who-Is fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that surrounded Praised, so that they did not make war against He-Who-Is-Has-Judged.

Some Philistines also brought gifts and silver as tribute to He-Who-Is-Has-Judged, and the Desert-Plain-Ones brought him 7,700 rams and 7,700 goats from their flocks.

He-Who-Is-Has-Judged grew stronger and stronger, and he built fortresses and store cities in Praised

and kept vast supplies in the cities of Praised. He also had warriors in Foundation-of-Peace who were mighty men of valor.

These are their numbers according to the houses of their fathers: From Praised, the commanders of thousands: Pleasure the commander, and with him 300,000 mighty men of valor;

next to him, He-Who-Is-Has-Been-Gracious the commander, and with him 280,000;

and next to him, He-Who-Is-Has-Borne son of My-Remembrance, the volunteer for He-Who-Is, and with him 200,000 mighty men of valor.

From Son-of-the-Right-Hand: God-Has-Known, a mighty man of valor, and with him 200,000 armed with bows and shields;

and next to him, He-Who-Is-Has-Endowed, and with him 180,000 armed for battle.

These were the men who served the king, besides those he stationed in the fortified cities throughout Praised.
