Beloved constructed buildings for himself in the City of Beloved, and he prepared a place for the Chest of God and pitched a tent for it.

Then Beloved said, “No one but the Joined-Ones may carry the Chest of God, because He-Who-Is has chosen them to carry the Chest of He-Who-Is and to minister before Him forever.”

And Beloved assembled all Strives-with-God in Foundation-of-Peace to bring up the Chest of He-Who-Is to the place he had prepared for it.

Then he gathered together the descendants of Aaron and the Joined-Ones:

From the children of Assembly, My-Light-Is-God the chief and 120 of his relatives;

from the children of Bitter, He-Who-Is-Has-Made the chief and 220 of his relatives;

from the Sojourner-Thereites, He-Who-Is-God the chief and 130 of his relatives;

from the children of My-God-Has-Treasured, He-Who-Is-Has-Heard the chief and 200 of his relatives;

from the children of Association, My-God-Is-God the chief and 80 of his relatives;

and from the children of My-Strength-Is-God, My-Kinsman-Is-Generous the chief and 112 of his relatives.

Beloved summoned the priests Righteous and Father-of-Abundance and the Joined-Ones My-Light-Is-God, He-Who-Is-Has-Made, He-Who-Is-God, He-Who-Is-Has-Heard, My-God-Is-God, and My-Kinsman-Is-Generous.

And he said to them, “You are the heads of the Levitical families. You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves so that you may bring the Chest of He-Who-Is, the God of Strives-with-God, to the place I have prepared for it.

It was because you Levites were not with us the first time that He-Who-Is our God burst forth in anger against us. For we did not consult Him about the proper order.”

So the priests and Joined-Ones consecrated themselves to bring up the Chest of He-Who-Is, the God of Strives-with-God.

And the Joined-Ones carried the Chest of God on their shoulders with the poles, as Drawn-Out had commanded in accordance with the word of He-Who-Is.

Beloved also told the leaders of the Joined-Ones to appoint their relatives as singers to lift up their voices with joy, accompanied by musical instruments—harps, lyres, and cymbals.

So the Joined-Ones appointed Faithful son of He-Who-Is-God; from his brothers, Gatherer son of He-Who-Is-Has-Blessed; from their brothers the children of Bitter, Enduring son of Ensnared-of-He-Who-Is;

and with them their brothers next in rank: He-Who-Is-Remembers, God-Strengthens, Name-of-Heights, God-Lives, Afflicted, My-God-Is-Father, He-Who-Is-Has-Built, Work-of-He-Who-Is, Gift-of-He-Who-Is, My-God-Distinguishes-Him, Possession-of-He-Who-Is, and the gatekeepers Servant-of-Edom and God-Sweeps-Away.

The musicians Faithful, Gatherer, and Enduring were to sound the bronze cymbals.

He-Who-Is-Remembers, Strength-of-God, Name-of-Heights, God-Lives, Afflicted, My-God-Is-Father, Work-of-He-Who-Is, and He-Who-Is-Has-Built were to play the harps according to Alamoth.

And Gift-of-He-Who-Is, My-God-Distinguishes-Him, Possession-of-He-Who-Is, Servant-of-Edom, God-Sweeps-Away, and He-Who-Is-Has-Strengthened were to lead the music with lyres according to Sheminith.

He-Who-Is-Establishes the head Joined-Ones was the director of the music because he was highly skilled.

He-Who-Is-Has-Blessed and God-Has-Acquired were to be guardians of the Chest.

He-Who-Is-Has-Grown, He-Who-Is-Has-Judged, God-Has-Given, Burden-Bearer, He-Who-Is-Remembers, He-Who-Is-Has-Built, and My-God-Is-Help—the priests—were to blow the trumpets before the Chest of God. Serving-edom and He-Who-Is-Lives were also to be guardians of the Chest.

So Beloved, the elders of Strives-with-God, and the commanders of thousands went with rejoicing to bring the Chest of the covenant of He-Who-Is from the house of Servant-of-Edom.

And because God helped the Joined-Ones who were carrying the Chest of the covenant of He-Who-Is, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

Now Beloved was dressed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Joined-Ones who were carrying the Chest, as well as the singers and He-Who-Is-Establishes, the director of music for the singers. Beloved also wore a linen ephod.

So all Strives-with-God brought up the Chest of the covenant of He-Who-Is with shouting, with the sounding of rams’ horns and trumpets, and with cymbals and the music of harps and lyres.

As the Chest of the covenant of He-Who-Is was entering the City of Beloved, Asked-For’s daughter Brook looked down from a window and saw King Beloved dancing and celebrating, and she despised him in her heart.
